Biography
Born in and raised just north of Boston, Massachusetts, Jennie grew up immersed in music, taking instruction in voice, piano, and guitar, and performing in local musical theatre productions. Her first large-scale introduction to the stage came at 9, when she became a member of the North Shore Music Theater Academy's selective Youth Performance Ensemble. In the summer of 2014, Jennie attended a camp at the famed Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, where she helped to track, mix, and sing backup vocals on a professional demo and discovered her true calling; Songwriting. In 2015, Jennie became a member of the New England Country Music Organization and won its Songwriter of the Year and Most Promising Songwriter awards for her age group. Jennie is a member of both Nashville Songwriter Association International and The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammys). Jennie is a 2020 graduate of Belmont University's Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned a BA in Songwriting and Music Business.
